SACRAMENTO, CA, July 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) The health of your teeth, like the health of your body, can be affected by environmental factors. For example, the World Health Organization has found that in areas where water is not treated with fluoride, tooth decay, cavities, and tooth loss are much more prevalent. However, teeth health and your environment exceed simple water treatment to include choices that can be influenced by your community and things you are exposed to on a daily basis.
Environmental Factors
Environment is largely used in its ecological sense as a catch-all for water, air, and soil. However, environment also means the conditions and influences of your immediate surroundings. It is this later definition that we are concerned with here.
In environments where unhealthy foods and drinks are prevalent, dental health often suffers. This can occur in homes and schools, but is not limited to children. Unhealthy office environments are also a leading cause of poor dental health.
In areas where obesity is prevalent, oral health is also poor. This is because the factors that cause obesity such as simple carbohydrates, high fructose corn syrup, refined sugars, and other unhealthy consumables also destroy tooth enamel. Like obesity, teeth health is a result of personal choices and, like obesity, is directly influenced by the environment in which you live.
Take Your Health Back
You can improve the health of your teeth by improving your environment. Get rid of sugary snacks and beverages, opting instead to stock you refrigerator and cabinets with healthy foods and drinks. Drink water or unsweetened tea instead of soda, and choose naturally sweet desserts like apples or berries.
Make sure you brush your teeth after every meal and floss at least once a day. Moderate exercise every day helps keep your body healthy and strong, a good daily oral hygiene routine does the same for your teeth. Visit your dentist every six months for thorough cleanings and examinations. During these visits, your dentist can help you find other ways to improve your environment and keep your teeth healthy for a lifetime.

What Are Partial Dentures?
2012-07-28
Missing teeth can lead to a variety of oral health issues if they are not replaced. Missing teeth can also accelerate bone loss and jeopardize the health of your gums and remaining teeth. In order to prevent these issues from occurring, it is important to replace missing teeth in a timely manner.
Partial dentures are an excellent and cost effective solution if you need to replace multiple missing teeth. At your initial ...
Rights of DUI Victims
2012-07-28
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, one person dies in a drunk driving accident every 51 minutes in United States. Even when these accidents do not result in death, they almost always result in serious pain and injuries for their victims.
Drunk drivers may face stiff legal penalties, but DUI victims are seldom adequately compensated for injuries sustained in these accidents. When a drunk driver hurts you or someone you love, only an auto accident attorney can help you get every penny you are due.

Breast Implant Manufacturers
2012-07-28
In the U.S., only a few different companies manufacture and produce breast implants. Part of the reason for this is because the breast implant industry is extremely competitive. Over time, any smaller manufacturers that try to come into play get bought out by the larger companies. If you are getting a breast augmentation in America, your breast implants will come from one of three companies:
- Allergan, Inc. - Formerly called Inamed Aesthetic and McGhan Medical, Allergan creates breast implants that go by the brand name Natrelle.
- Mentor Corporation - Located in Santa ...

Many women considering breast implants in the Tampa area are avid exercisers. With year-round mild climate and a 9-month swimsuit season, it's important to women to keep in good shape. But they're also concerned: will breast implants impact my ability to keep enjoying my regular exercise routine?
The good news is that women will likely be able to keep exercising after getting breast implants, ...
