Planet Orbital launches Award Winning Green Resource for Carpet Cleaning Industry

2010-10-03
BOSTON, MA, October 03, 2010 (Press-News.org) Planet Orbital (www.Planet-Orbital.com) is a new website that offers a green resource for the carpet cleaning industry. The site features unique Orbital carpet and floor cleaning machines and environmentally friendly vegetable-based cleaning solutions.

The Orbital equipment and green solutions have helped site founder Mark
Dullea to attract numerous accolades in the competitive Boston market. His
carpet and floor business has been selected as "Best in Boston" by BOSTON
Magazine. It has for several years maintained a straight "A" rating on
AngiesList. It has twice been featured in the Boston Sunday Globe Magazine.

Dullea's business and the Orbital process was recently highlighted in a new
book by author Scott Cooney entitled "Build a Green Small Business:
Profitable Ways to become an Entrepreneur" published by McGraw-Hill
Publishers in 2009.

For the past years Dullea also been assisting others throughout the USA, as
well as into Canada, to start up their own similar carpet and floor cleaning
businesses (http://www.carpet-cleaning-business.com) for under $2,000. He
has helped 200 hard working and ambitious people tap into the lucrative
similar carpet and floor cleaning businesses.

Most orbital machines admittedly don't look too different from the old,
standard 175-RPM rotary floor machine, or "buffer". Cleaning professionals
know there is a world of difference in performance between them. For one
thing, the orbital's movement or scrubbing action is usually at the rate of
1750 RPM, plus another 100 or so RPM of rotary movement. The rotary motion
enables what is called fixed rotary action to become the more effective
random orbital action.

The Orbital machines are superbly designed, very strongly built, fully
powered, and tweaked to operating perfection. They are capable of performing
most if not all floor maintenance services far more effectively than their
older, design-dated first cousin, the rotary, or "buffer".
Orbital/oscillating machines are now manufactured by at least four American
companies, and one in Switzerland.

To help visualize this difference, we'll put it into athletic terms. The
rotary machine is slow and heavy - think sumo wrestler. The orbital machine
is considerably lighter, and far faster. Think Muhammad Ali in his prime.
You say you're a basketball fan? OK. The rotary is, say, Shaquille O'Neil,
PAST his prime. The orbital is, in contrast, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, or
Kevin Garnett, IN their prime.

"In specializing for many years in minimum-moisture carpet cleaning methods,
I think I've tried about every variation there is, and have concluded that
orbital/oscillating machines are without question the best of the batch, the
creme de la crème," noted Dullea. He added, "This new website offers a
central resource for people who own or manage properties with carpet
premises, as well as for budding entrepreneurs looking to start their own
service businesses."

The new website offers a wide range of Orbital carpet and floor cleaning
machines, green solutions, cleaning and encapsulating pads, and vacuum
cleaners.

Site founder Mark Dullea, a Peabody, Massachusetts resident, earned a
Masters Degree in Urban Planning at the University of Rhode Island and a
Bachelor's Degree from Boston College. He also served as a Navy officer and
sailed around the world in that capacity.
