Free eBook Mystery/Satire "Who Is Anthony Stephens?" Targets College/Student Loan Industry

Author Patrick Anderson Jr. Shapes Intricate Plot around One Man's Attempts to Get Out of Debt by Faking His Own Death

2012-07-31
NEW YORK, NY, July 31, 2012 (Press-News.org) Miami author and resident, Patrick Anderson Jr., has recently published "Who Is Anthony Stephens?: The Life and Death of a College Grad," a 357-page novel that introduces Anthony Stephens, a college graduate who attempts to escape his life of mediocrity and debt by faking his own death, with questionable results. Anderson Jr. is himself an MFA recipient from the University of Central Florida, and wrote the novel to shed some light on the current state of college as well as the student loan industry while also providing a compelling mystery intertwined with elements of satire.

"Who Is Anthony Stephens?: The Life and Death of a College Grad" is available to the public as an electronic book, downloadable for free at Smashwords at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/209324

While many stories have been told of the current generation's collegiate plight, and the student loan industry's influence over college graduates' futures, Anderson Jr.'s effort to combine artful storytelling with factual statistical evidence and relevant pop culture references offers a truly unique perspective of what it means to be a college graduate in the new millennium.
