DENVER, CO, August 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) For the Hip Hop 2012 year, rapper C.KHiD is releasing his 7th independent studio album. Titled "New Rap Songs", he promises it will usher in lyrical content that ventures far from trippy stick vape pens, big booty hip hop models, and other basic-minded scandal. Set to release, August 9th, not only have singles leaked to YouTube, but today the album cover also leaked.
"Sooo.. my 'New Rap Songs' album cover... final version... leaked.. Lol.... all good... #NewRapSongs Album, August 9th.. Be Sure to Get it... its Free" tweeted C.KHiD in response to the leak.
Seemingly unaffected by the early leak, it's not the end of the world for an album cover to leak. The rapper, who was Pharrell & Kanye inspired according to earlier news on CKHiD.com, teamed with a Romanian graphic designer to to focus on creating an album cover artwork that twisted reality with fantasy.
The "New Rap Songs" album will be released in a 2-sided jacket August 9th.
The front cover artwork features photographs of C.KHiD, twisted, mirrored, and manipulated various ways. A mystery why he's chosen to feature Tigers on all album covers, the new album is no different. On the lower side of the cover, 2 mirrored images of C.KHiD have the rapper's head replaced by an angry Bengal Tiger. At the top of the cover, see the rapper smiling and his hands throwing up, what looks to be an illuminati freemason hand gesture.
On the rear cover of the 'New Rap Songs' album, it gets more spacey. The rapper may not have rapped about trippy stick vaporizers & drugs, but one might wonder if this art was 'inspired' with it. Various age Bengal and White Tiger heads replace C.KHiD's own face precisely. Whether standing with friends, girls, or alone, the rapper is transformed into what can be called a 'Tiger Man.'
Don't over think this however. Hailing from Greenville, SC, perhaps the love for Tigers comes from the South Carolina rapper's home town college team, Clemson Tigers.
If well-traveled, the "New Rap Songs" album will spark thought and conversation. The rapper is standing in landmark locations, which make a statement itself. Though you do not see his face, one must know C.KHiD is living an above average lifestyle, without a record deal.
C.KHiD's 7th studio album, New Rap Songs, releases August 9th. It will be an EP album with 9 tracks. An interesting number with this album, it releases on the 9th month, 9th day, and has 9 tracks. If released on iTunes, it will only be .99cents.
Production on the "New Rap Songs" album, according to the leaked artwork includes fresh talent. Carlos Paez of Dresmore music, Matthew Houston [ Matt Houston ], Koncept Beats, Gue Beats, and Roscoe Beats have all contributed to the web-shaking project.
C.KHiD began rapping at an age too early to remember but was in 2nd grade. He took his craft to Youtube in 2008, where he was paid a few years after joining to create interesting music videos and entertainment skits. Since then, C.KHiD has accumulated over 21 million views to his rap videos. Ringtone site Myxer has also charted the rapper's growth. Over half-a-million ringtone downloads have been made from the Carolina rapper's music catalog.
CKHiD stands for "Cannot Kill How I'm Dreaming". The rapper wants to motivate all those that appreciate his music to make a habit of doing better for themselves. To know better and do better.
