SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA, August 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) SBR Forum, the leading sports betting resource for free NFL picks, has released its 2012 NFL Strength of Schedule series helping sports bettors identify which teams on this year's NFL schedule have the most value.

Your first step is finding your own Strength of Schedule, which according to our own Bobby Brooks comes from any major sports website like ESPN. Once you've found a schedule you'd like to work with, next would be to tune into your analytical side.

Brooks claims that the typical Strength of Schedule comes from last season's win-loss record which in many cases isn't very accurate due to changes in the offseason and other key factors. This is why bettors should attempt to create their own power schedule if they've got the time and will power.

2011 Power Rankings

Brooks claims that it's important to review how teams did last season and check as many different categories as possible including offensive lines and defensive lines. For example, facing the New England Patriots with a healthy Tom Brady isn't quite like facing him in week 13 without. You have to analyze on a week by week basis.

2012 Power Rankings

Just looking at a win/loss record, he claims, can be unclear and often misleading. It's important to check out a team's weaknesses and strengths including new players, coaching changes, injuries, etc. This gives you a more solid idea of what for starting 2012 power rankings.

If you're not comfortable creating your own schedule then just make sure you're using a reputable source to base your decisions on.

2012 NFL Schedule

When you reach the point that you have all the information you need, you are then ready to rank your teams from strongest to weakest and then go on to create your own schedule.

Brooks created his own custom Strength of Schedule (SOS) based on the strongest teams all the way down to the weakest which is completely outlined in his article, "NFL Strength of Schedule: Creating Your Own".

Starting with the Buffalo Bills as the strongest with their first game of the pre-season starting next Thursday against the Redskins followed by the Vikings on the 17th. These guys are already Tweeting some positive feedback with "a handful of nice plays" coming from training camp among other comments such as line backer "Kelvin Sheppard returns to practice."

The Minnesota Vikings are hanging somewhere in the middle of that list working hard at training camp and gearing up for next week's first pre-season game against the San Francisco 49ers followed by the Bills.

Last but not least are the New York Giants who while remaining low on his list are hoping to win a 3rd Lombardi Trophy that will put them in elite status. Currently these guys are in training and recently welcomed Linebacker Keith Rivers who returned to practice after a hamstring injury, claims Giants.com. These guys are facing the Jacksonville Jaguars next Friday followed by the New York Jets in week 2.

Brooks claims that preparation is key when putting together your own Strength of Schedule and the best way to find "value" is to do the research and trust your own skills.

2012-08-04
ORLANDO, Fla. – Determining when a teenage brain becomes an adult brain is not an exact science but it's getting closer, according to an expert in adolescent developmental psychology, speaking at the American Psychological Association's 120th Annual Convention. Research collaboration among multiple institutions is growing trend

2012-08-04
A recent National Science Foundation report found that research collaboration among multiple institutions is a growing trend. The conclusion was drawn by noting increases in the amount of total expenditures for research and development that universities pass through to other institutions and receive from other institutions. During fiscal years 2000-2009, the amount of R&D funding that passed through universities to others for collaborative projects grew more rapidly than overall academic R&D expenditures. After adjustment for inflation, total academic R&D expenditures ...
