HOLLYWOOD, VA, August 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Terry Wayne Adams, Jr., Baseball Coach at Mary G. Montgomery High School and retired Professional Baseball Player, has been selected as an Executive Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Terry Wayne Adams, Jr.'s commitment to excellence in Sports.

Adams, who was a professional pitcher for the Major League Professional Baseball Association since 1991, began coaching in 2006.

As a pitching coach and assistant coach for both varsity and junior varsity baseball, his twelve years of professional experience have been incorporated into his daily training routine, enabling his players to benefit from his expertise.

"I wanted to give back to my community, help my high school alumni baseball team be successful, and help them win a state championship," Adams said.

Adams is the recipient of numerous awards throughout his professional career in baseball, including a 1991 Gatorade Alabama Baseball Player of the Year, a 1997 and 1999 Rolaids Relief Team Award from the Chicago Cubs, was a 2004 member of the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox Team, and was also elected in 2009 to the Mobile, Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
