RemoteStylist.com: An A-List Design Experience Without The Red-Carpet Pricing

RemoteStylist.com is an online interior design platform that's redefining the industry. Offering free stylist/designers, less-than-retail prices and delivery straight to your door, it is taking the stress and frustration out of the design process.

2012-08-11
TORONTO, ON, August 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Save time, money and frustration when decorating a space with RemoteStylist.com's online furniture platform. We've all been there - trying to figure out which pillows go best with that sofa, or where the best spot is for that table in the room. Kelly Fallis developed an online platform so anyone could design a space remotely with the guidance of a professional designer (called Stylist) no matter where they are or what time it is. The best part - it's free to use and product prices are always less-than-retail.

Why take the process of furnishing a space online? "With the overwhelming amount of information out there, the problem becomes sorting through it, which takes an enormous amount of time," says Fallis. "Guys, moms, designers, builders, realtors...they're all time starved so they go with the resources they already know, when what they really want is the absolute best option and quickly! The ability to get rapid, professional and personalized advice 24-7 and on-the-go from your computer or mobile not only gets you through the design process faster, but makes it far more enjoyable."

How does it work? Users build a quick profile describing their space, budget and taste; bonus points if they can include floor plans and/or snap a few photos on their phone. After a remote greeting from their Stylist, their wants, needs and hopes get transformed into an awesome reality via a "Style File". This visual representation of what the space can look like includes floor plans, colour and texture swatches, flooring, lighting, fixture and furniture options; no two "Style Files" are the same! User's "loves and hates" drive the decision process. As they discover items they wish to purchase, they do so through the website. Products are not inventoried, rather shipped directly from the manufacturer to your door; as a result prices are always less-than-retail. We can't decide what's better: having a go-to Stylist and getting even the silliest of design questions answered quickly or the fact users are always saving money?!

This affordable, fun experience seriously takes the frustration out of furnishing a space! It's like an A-list experience without the red-carpet pricing.
