NORCROSS, GA, August 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) June marked the grand opening of a new Express Oil Change and Service Center location in Alpharetta, Georgia. In addition to steep discounts on oil change services, grand opening plans included a local radio station broadcasting live, food from local restaurants, and a Braves/Yankees ticket giveaway.
The Baseball tickets were to be raffled off to one lucky customer visiting the new location between the opening that morning and 1pm. A Roswell, GA woman pulled into the Alpharetta oil change bay one minute before the closing of the raffle with hopes of winning tickets for her daughter that she would not otherwise be able to afford.
As it turns out, the Roswell woman was unemployed and her daughter in the Air Force has been supporting her while she finds new employment. Her daughter was scheduled for a visit the weekend of the Braves/Yankees game, and the mother desperately hoped to win the tickets to take her daughter to the game while she was in town.
As luck would have it, the Roswell woman got in just before the raffle entry was over and won the tickets while her oil was being changed by the master technicians at Express Oil Change and Service Center. Born in New York, but a long time resident of Atlanta, both the Yankees and the Braves are favorite teams in their household.
