Southern Belle Wins Miss United Kingdom Supranational

LONDON, ENGLAND, August 17, 2012

On the 9th of August bubbly blonde Rachael Howard of Bermondsey won Miss United Kingdom Supranational organized by Static Management in the UK. Rachael, who is sponsored by Caramel Rum will continue on as Miss England to compete for the title of Miss Supranational internationally in Poland organized by the World Beauty Association. Judges will look at poise, personality and body.

Should she win Rachael will be set to win $25,000 in cash as well as jewellery. On her win an ecstatic Rachael says, "It still hasn't sunk in yet! I am so excited to win. There were so many talented and beautiful girls that I didn't really think I would win but did it for the experience. I most confess that I came on board last minute. Now that I have won I really want to use the title to contribute and help others on whatever scale I can. I am not a Lady Diana, who I have always admired, but I do believe everyone can get involved on one level or another with charitable work."

Rachel works as a model asked about her best experience of her profession she professes, "I was so excited having been chosen to model a handpicked selection of designers at a private Olympic Fashion Party. It was hosted by Athletes Hardy Cubasch and Steffen Buschbacher for Athletes, held at CRE8 and produced by Fashionaires, Iheartfashion and Melanie Jones PR. We had eight gold medalists, six silver medalists amongst all the other Olympic athletes that came down after competing and their public engagements that night. London really staged the most amazing games and to be able to entertain international and our elite Olympic athletes was an honour. Particularly since the standard of their performance was so exceptionally high"
