NC Center For Women In Public Service Conducted Women In Office Institute Graduation Ceremony

Event Honoring 2012 Institute Participants Held At William Peace University On July 28

RALEIGH, NC, August 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) Annette Taylor, executive director of the NC Center for Women in Public Service (NCCWPS) (http://www.nccwps.org), a nonpartisan organization that prepares women for elected and appointed offices statewide, has announced that the graduation ceremony and reception for all 2012 Women in Office Institute participants was held on Saturday, July 28 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at William Peace University. The graduation was conducted in Dinwiddie Chapel, while the reception took place in the Main Parlor on the school's campus, located at 15 E. Peace St.

The ceremony, free and open to the public, recognized the leadership and initiative of the 2012 Women in Office Institute participants and highlighted their public service achievements. Special remarks were made by Dr. Aldona Wos, former U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Estonia. The keynote and ceremony was followed by a reception with light hors d'ouevres.
