HARROGATE, ENGLAND, October 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) One of the country's leading Frank Sinatra tribute acts has been helping golfers who played in a major charity tournament with their swing!
For Ian Gallagher - who has toured the world with his Classic Sinatra act - belted out the hits of ol' blue eyes to the competitors who took part in the Nigel Mansell Youth Golf Classic.
The event was held at East Sussex Golf Club, in Little Horsted, Uckfield, and Ian performed two 60 minute sets, which included a number of well-known classic "Rat Pack" hits.
Ian, who has performed in the London Palladium, Talk of the Town, The Savoy and Buckingham Palace, is the only Sinatra tribute to be endorsed by the Sinatra Music Society.
He said: "I very much enjoyed performing for the players that took part in the Nigel Mansell Youth Golf Classic.
"As my act is a tribute to the greatest 'swing' singer of all time, it was particularly fitting that my audience had been perfecting their swing techniques throughout the day!"
In addition to Frank Sinatra, Ian has just launched a Michael Buble´ tribute act, which aims to introduce swing music to a new, younger audience.
Further details about Ian's Classic Sinatra and Classic Buble' tributes are available for his website http://www.classicsinatra.co.uk or by phoning him on 01268 412 806
