Zee & Zoey's Chronicle Connection Blog Announces First Annual Cat Ruler of the World Campaign for a Cause Contest Extravaganza!

CORAL SPRINGS, FL, August 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Deciding that it was time to change the current human political arena that is rampant with mudslinging and slanderous campaigning, author, blogger, and cat advocate, Deborah Barnes of Zee & Zoey's Chronicle Connection, is proud to introduce six well established cats in the blogosphere who will be competing for the prestigious title of Cat Ruler of the World, as well as campaigning for a shelter of their choice. Whichever cat is ultimately elected Cat Ruler of the World will be presenting their shelter with a combined cash and prize donation with a retail value of approximately $7500.00.

While this is a competition, the number one rule according to Barnes, "Is to keep it fun. We are all friends and there is to be no biting, hissing, scratching, or litter-flinging." She continues, "Rather than using negative partisan attacks, the main goal of the contest is to use these cats as a united vehicle to entertain and educate the general public about cat related causes in a humorous and positive way."

It seems that a lot of people agree with her fun and positive approach. Jean Broders, Brand Manager of World's Best Cat Litter, states,"When we were approached by Ms. Barnes to be a sponsor for the contest, we were thrilled. We love the idea and are excited to be part of something that can promote better cat care by using humor and good-natured fun."
