BKD to Present at AGA Professional Development Conference

SPRINGFIELD, MO, August 22, 2012

BKD Forensics & Valuation Services, a division of BKD, LLP, is pleased to announce that Jeremy Clopton will be presenting at the Association of Government Accountants' Midwest Region Professional Development Conference. His presentation, "Forensic Accounting and Investigations" will focus on current fraud schemes and trends and methods for forensics accountants to detect and mitigate fraud.

Clopton is a member of BKD's Forensics & Valuation Services division and specializes in providing fraud investigation and forensic data mining services and in performing statistical analysis of large-scale data sets. He assists with fraud investigations performing a variety of tasks including interviewing employees, examining documents, estimating losses and presenting findings.

He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA) and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 10:15 a.m.- 12:15 p.m. at the Inn at Grand Glaize, Osage Beach, MO.
