"I have dealt with Hospice of Wake County personally and professionally," said Kinnin. "Until you've been there with someone, you can't imagine the care and compassion this organization provides. Any one of us could be in this situation and I can't think of anyone better to shed light and comfort on this painful, end-of-life ordeal. I am honored to host this year's Big Bad Ball."
Kitty Kinnin began her career behind the mic at a rock radio station in Winston Salem, NC, WKZL-FM where she hosted and developed a 2-hour Sunday night special, "A Touch of Jazz". She also narrated and hosted the documentary, "Diversity" and headed the PR/marketing startup campaign for The View on Water Street in Wilmington, NC. While her career has included TV, PR, narrating and hosting, Kinnin's true love is reaching out to fans. Kinnin can be heard weekdays 6AM-9AM and Sundays 9AM-12PM on 1007.FM, The River.
Kinnin will join two of the Triangle's most popular bands as they take the stage at the 11th anniversary Big Bad Ball. The Casablanca Orchestra and tHE.DESIGN will keep guests dancing into the early hours of the morning.
