UNIQLO UTGP 2013 Design Contest Announced - Spring / Summer '13

UT Grand Prix 2013 theme to be 'music'.

LONDON, ENGLAND, August 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) UNIQLO announce the launch of their annual UTGP contest, an annual T-shirt design contest in which participants around the world turn T-shirts into creative works of art which are then sold in UNIQLO stores worldwide. The theme for the UT GRAND PRIX 2013 is music, focusing on six international legendary names; AC/DC, David Bowie, Madonna, KISS, the Sex Pistols and The Who.

The artists will personally select the six winning entries in the Artist's Choice Award category, and an online voting process will choose the six winners in the People's Choice Award category.

The contest is open from 3rd August 2012 - 2nd September 2012. A total of $30,000 in cash prizes will be available for the twelve winners (Artist's Choice Award winners will each receive $4,000, while the six winners of the People's Choice Award will receive $1,000 each). UNIQLO will select an additional twelve entries for the Runner's Up category, and the company will produce UT's for all twenty-four designs and sell them at its stores throughout the world in Spring / Summer 13!

The UNIQLO UT GRAND PRIX contest has been running since 2005 and encourages creative and talented individuals of all ages from around the world to submit designs to be retailed in UNIQLO stores globally.
