TribeSpring Selected as Startup in Groundwork Labs' Accelerator Program

Early-Stage Incubator to Mentor Mobile Software Startup

RALEIGH, NC, August 25, 2012

TribeSpring, a Raleigh-based mobile software company that works to streamline and simplify the professional networking process, has been selected as a startup company in Groundwork Labs, a "no strings attached" community-supported accelerator sponsored by venture capital firm NC IDEA and Capitol Broadcasting Company. Groundwork Labs is located in the heart of the American Underground in Durham.

"We are excited to join the other startup innovators that will get to take part in this accelerator program," said Craig Mathews, CEO and co-founder of TribeSpring. "The benefits of being a part of this supportive community of mentors, advisors and other entrepreneurs are invaluable."

During TribeSpring's three-month term with Groundwork Labs' accelerator program, the company will receive guidance from a variety of mentors who will work with the TribeSpring team on crucial early-stage issues common among startup companies. Groundwork Labs will also help TribeSpring prepare for funding opportunities such as grants, angel and other investment. Groundwork Labs primarily considers software and hardware technology companies with potential to scale.
