Women-owned business owners of Washington will join to commemorate fashion's biggest night with a charity style showcase on September 6 at 6 pm at TARI at 1525 Wisconsin Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20007. Benefiting television star and philanthropist Mary Amons' anti-bullying lifestyle line Love Not Label, the event will feature pop-up shops of the District's most promising fashion, beauty and jewelry lines and an array of exclusive vintage pieces for purchase."I'm thrilled to be a part of an evening that will feature the wonderful work of women-owned start ups making an impact for fashion," says Amons. "As a fellow female entrepreneur, I look forward to sharing, Love Not Label, my apparel line with an anti-bullying message."
Style savvy hosts SNOBSWAP and TARI will kick off the night by unlocking BravoTV's The Real Housewives of DC Mary Amons' biometrically fingerprint locked closet. As featured on SNOBSWAP, Amons along with fellow housewife Lynda Erkiletian will be consigning a number of designer items from their own collections as charitable contributions. Beyond the closet, event-goers can try their luck throughout the night with TARI's mystery bag event. Attendees will also preview the transformation and the grand unveil of the winners of the Glamourazzi Makeover Contest. The on-going contest sponsored by TARI offers fashion lovers the opportunity to be transformed by a team of talented wardrobe stylists and master hairstylist David Rios to star in their own photo shoot.
