BATON ROUGE, LA, September 06, 2012 (Press-News.org) In order to meet the needs of growing demands and expectations of various industries, VarTech Systems has engineered their most impressive rack mount yet. The now-available VT201R, 20.1 Inch 8U Fixed Rack Mount LCD Display, satisfies a wide variety of industrial control and man-machine interface (HMI) applications. This rack mount display is design to be mounted into a traditional 19" wide rack cabinet and also has a standardized rack bezel height with 8U rack units. Additionally, the LCD panel reaches an impressive resolution of UXGA (1600 x 1200) with a brightness of 300 nits at an operating temperature range of 0 to 50C.
The most notable of the new features offered on the VT201R 8U rack mount LCD monitor are the picture in picture (PinP) functions. This unit comes standard with video inputs of HD15(F), DVI-D Pin, Composite BNC, Mini Din (S-video) with options up to 4x BNC. Each BNC input provides multiple picture in picture with variable positioning allowing 18 size selections. The increased versatility of the input's configurations is evident in the fact that BNC (NTSC) feeds as well as VGA signals can be overlapped or mixed with on one another in the advanced picture and picture mode allowing the user to see multiple video feeds from different signal sources. This makes it possible to achieve up to 16 PinP frames at one time. Optional hot-buttons can also be configured on the monitor's front, external user interface to give the user a quick, one-touch access to this unique attribute.
VarTech's VT201R 20.1" 8U rack mountable display is suitable for environmental applications including control rooms, communications, visual inspection stations, server and data storage rooms, CCTV and chemical plants. Other options available on the VT201R are capacitive and resistive touch screen technologies as well as extended operational temperatures of -20 or -40C. A high bright, sunlight readable, LED configuration of the VT201R is slated for release in September of 2012.
