AsiaRooms.com - The Temper Trap to Play Near Seminyak

Kuta's Hard Rock Cafe will stage a gig from The Temper Trap midway through November 2010.

2010-10-07
SEMINYAK, INDONESIA, October 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) Australian indie stars The Temper Trap have confirmed they will play in Bali as part of their three-gig Indonesian tour, which will take place next month.

The band, who have risen to prominence around the world off the strength of singles such as Sirens, Science of Fear and Sweet Disposition, will be playing at the Hard Rock Cafe in Kuta on November 10th 2010.

With Bali generally better known for its beaches and spectacular scenery than its music scene, the concert is likely to prove popular with locals and tourists staying in Seminyak hotels.

On announcing they will be heading to the paradise island, the band revealed that the dates will have particular significance for them because vocalist and guitarist Dougy Mandagi was born in Indonesia.

"It's fantastic to finally get to Indonesia with my band, everyone's really excited about playing there for the first time," he remarked.

Mandagi went on to thank local fans for their Twitter and Facebook messages regarding the gigs.

Music lovers who are keen to catch The Temper Trap's Bali performance can get their hands on presale tickets for 300,000 Indonesia rupiah (GBP21), although these are likely to sell out quickly.

Tickets are available from online retailers, or from the Raw Store on Sunset Road, Denpasar.

For more information on this event, visit The Temper Trap website or contact the ticket and info hotline on (+62) 852 106 000 62.
