JACKSON, MS, September 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) When local entrepreneur Cheryl Armstrong attended her recent annual company convention, she looked forward to connecting with peers and learning best business practices. What she didn't expect was to be awarded the national franchisor's top accolade - the 2012 Pump It Up Franchisee of the Year Award.
Armstrong, who owns the Metro Jackson, Miss. Pump It Up, recently received the award for her achievement in displaying Pump It Up's core values, showing growth in sales, being active within her community and striving to be an industry leader within the Pump It Up system and her community. Armstrong, who showed a 94 percent customer satisfaction rating over a 12-month period, was chosen among more than 100 franchisees that operate 150 Pump It Up locations nationwide.
"We are humbled and excited to have received this award among a national system of dedicated and successful business owners," said Armstrong. "When we opened over five years ago, our goal was to be a vital part of the community and to provide a great private party facility for families in the metro-Jackson area; this remains a goal of ours to this day. Without question, we owe this success to our dedicated employees and loyal customers."
The Pump It Up national franchise convention took place at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, AZ. Pump It Up franchise owners from across the country came together to learn from one another and share best practices.
"Cheryl has gone above and beyond to uphold Pump It Up's brand standards and to give her customers the best party experience imaginable," said Lee Knowlton, CEO of Pump It Up. "She is truly deserving of this recognition."
