Ben Franklin Venture Idol to be Held on November 16th
During this event, three early-stage technology company entrepreneurs will present short pitches to a panel of investors and the audience. After critiques from an expert panel, the audience will vote for a winning "Ben Franklin Venture Idol."

It will be similar to the popular television show American Idol, but with entrepreneurs instead of vocalists. The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania will present "Ben Franklin Venture Idol" on Tuesday evening, November 16th. During this event, three early-stage technology company entrepreneurs seeking funding will present short pitches to a panel of investors and the audience. After critiques from an expert panel, the audience will vote for a winning "Ben Franklin Venture Idol." The event will include opening remarks, networking, several exhibiting early-stage companies, and the investment pitches.Ben Franklin Venture Idol will be held at the Wood Dining Room, Iacocca Hall, on Lehigh University's Mountaintop Campus in Bethlehem. Now in its 7th year, this event attracts entrepreneurs and investors, business and community leaders, and professional service providers for high-quality interactions leading to investments and economic growth.
Ben Franklin Venture Idol begins at 2:30 PM with a private "speed dating" session for invited investors and entrepreneurs only. A group of pre-selected companies will deliver multiple rounds of two-minute "elevator pitches" to individual institutional and angel investors.
Following a networking session at 5:30 PM, the Venture Idol competition starts at 7:00 PM. The evening's investor panelists are:

Fred Beste, Managing Partner, Mid-Atlantic Venture Partners, Bethlehem, will host.
