Jonathan Morein Joins Furia Rubel as MarCom Director

DOYLESTOWN, PA, September 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) Furia Rubel Communications, Inc. (www.furiarubel.com), an award-winning, integrated marketing agency located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has hired Jonathan Morein as marcom director. Morein will manage a variety of client relationships, while providing strategic planning, integrated marketing, public relations and social media services. He will also have a significant role in new business development for the marketing, public relations and social media agency, which is now celebrating its 10th year.

"Jonathan is experienced in practically every area of strategic communications including public relations, marketing communications, crisis management, social media, advertising and publications," said Gina F. Rubel, Esq., CEO/president. "He is a true professional who understands how integrated marketing influences business performance. A significant portion of his work throughout the years has focused on industries served by Furia Rubel including legal marketing, professional services, nonprofits, higher education, tourism and manufacturing. Prior to joining Furia Rubel, Jonathan was director of public relations at Altus Agency in Philadelphia. There he provided strategic counsel, PR, advertising and strategic marketing for clients including Lufthansa, Marriott, Borgata, Peirce College and Sea-Land Chemical Company. In addition, Morein managed the Navigaytour, a suite of destination guides and online tourism products for the gay and lesbian market. This included establishing and managing partnerships with more than 20 convention and visitors bureaus, business associations and advocacy organizations.

Jonathan ran his own public relations consultancy, More In Communications, where he handled traditional and social media campaigns for Lundy Law, Beck's Cajun Cafe and Environmental Engineering Corporation. He was also a senior account manager with Tattar Richards - DBC Communications where he managed public relations campaigns for PMA Insurance Company, Airgas, Preferred Real Estate Investments and Phoenix Data Systems.

Jonathan served the PRSA Board of Directors from 2003 to 2009 in key roles including treasurer, ethics officer and president elect. In 2005, he received the President's Award for service. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Pennsylvania and resides in Cheltenham, PA, with his wife and two sons.
