SAN FRANCISCO, CA, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) Argoz, an innovative San Francisco argyle sock company, announced today that they will give all customers who have purchased more than $30 in socks (without using a coupon) a free $10 credit in their Argoz accounts. This retroactive credit is the Argoz CEO's response to a new refer-a-friend program that Argoz launched today.
The program is simple, when customers refer a friend, that friend gets $10 off their first purchase if it's $30 or more. In addition, the original customer gets a $10 credit added to their account. Though the deal is very similar to others, the way the founder of Argoz, Dan Soha, responded to the program's launch is very different.
"As a consumer, I love it when a company offers a deal on my favorite brands, but when I see a deal offered after I've made my first purchase, I get irritated that I missed out. Just because I was the first to support the brand, why do I have to miss out on the discount?" said Soha. "So, I gave a $10 credit to all of our past customers who have already made a purchase and have been telling their friends. I essentially am giving away thousands of dollars - it is the right thing to do."
The refer-a-friend program launched today and the end of the program is nowhere in sight. Customers will be able to refer friends during the checkout process via Facebook, Twitter, and email. Current brand advocates will also be able to post a link directly to their social media accounts without being required to make a purchase.
