BURLINGTON, ON, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) BURLINGTON, Ont. (September 11, 2012) - Meal time is tastier in Southwestern Ontario with the launch of a new Topper's Pizza store in Burlington. And to mark the occasion, the company is offering free pizza for one year to the first 25 customers to attend the store's grand opening this coming Wednesday, September 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
"We're thrilled to announce the opening of our second franchise location in Burlington," said Keith Toppazzini, president of Topper's Franchise Company Inc., owner of the Topper's Pizza brand. "Our newest Southern Ontario location reflects the warmth of a family-run business and emphasizes our commitment to delivering delicious food to the communities we serve."
The new store (Topper's 35th store in Ontario), is located on Brant Street and the fourth location for franchisee Gus Karouzakis, boasts the signature brick archway of the Toppazzini Bakery as a reminder of one of the brand's key differentiators - an authentic 100-year old family bread dough recipe.
"Our brand is all about returning to our roots," said Toppazzini. "My great grandfather started the tradition of serving 'amazingly delicious' baked goods more than 100 years ago and we're proud to continue his legacy."
In 1904, the Toppazzini bakery was a successful local business in Sudbury. Today, the Toppazzinis have earned their place as 'the first family of pizza' with a growing pizza franchise and a province-wide chain of stores that is aiming to reach 250 in the next seven years.
"We're poised for aggressive growth," says Toppazzini, adding that all franchise locations are supported by a comprehensive corporate branding initiative that includes a crisper logo, updated tagline, interactive social media campaigns and a menu boasting one-of-a-kind specialty pizzas. "Our ultimate goal is to generate opportunities for both existing and new franchise partners, and this store is an example," he says.
Located at 1035 Brant Street in Burlington, the Grand Opening on Wednesday, September 12, includes a ribbon cutting ceremony, cake, prizes and free pizza for a year (26 coupons, each coupon offers one medium three topping pizza, pick-up only, for free, at the Burlington Topper's locations only) to the first 25 patrons. A videographer will also be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For store opening specials, watch for the Grand Opening flyer or call 905-632-7171.
