Kindle publishing has allowed freelance copywriters like James to showcase knowledge in a wide variety of areas. The ability to research and compile informative short e-books, adds passive income to a freelance copywriters bottom line. At the time of this press release, James has three non-fiction e-books for sale via Amazon Kindle. While a number of authors have approached Kindle with the idea of writing a business series, James has tackled three completely different topics. Currently, James is working on the second draft of his first adult fiction novella. This novella is the starting point for a planned series. While Kindle is trumping traditional publishing, the jury is still out on which Kindle e-books will be a success. At the end of the novella, James is giving the reader the opportunity to vote for a full novel/series to be written. Kindle reviews are helpful to a point, however...readers will be able to contact James and advise what they liked about the novella and how they would like to see a series develop, in terms of characters and plots.
The sky is the limit with Kindle. Authors like James who have what is commonly called "trunk novels," are now able to dust said novels off and instantly publish them. Kindle has cut out the tiresome idea of first and second readers who then decide if a work will even make it to the editor's desk.
