DELRAY BEACH, FL, September 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) Catalyst West Palm Beach will present Preserving the Scene Volume 3, taking place at the South American Mission on Friday, September 21st, 2012, and featuring an international funk band, 3 DJS, a Graffiti Exhibition, a Breakdance (Breakin') workshop, Hip Hop vendors, and a 3 VS 3 Breakin' competition.
Established in 2001, Catalyst Hip Hop is a true Christ-centered organization that exists for the purpose of unifying and bringing peace to the Florida Hip Hop culture. Catalyst West Palm Beach, a branch of Catalyst Hip Hop, is proud to bring Preserving the Scene Volume 3 to the South America Mission for the third time in a row. Preserving the Scene Volume 3's main event will be judged by three international Breakin' champions from South Florida. The winners of the Breakin' battles will be awarded $300 in cash, gear, and trophies; other prizes will be given throughout the night for the best Funk-Stylist (Popper & Locker) and the best dressed dancer.
Preserving the Scene Volume 3 is an all ages event. Doors open at 7:30pm and general attendance is $5.
