Hannah Sheppard Joins IPR License as Creative Director

LONDON, ENGLAND, September 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) IPR License is delighted to announce that Hannah Sheppard has been appointed Creative Director. She has left her post as Senior Commissioning Editor, Young Adult and Crossover Fiction, at Headline Publishing to take up the role, to begin from 17th September.

IPR License is the ground-breaking global marketplace for the listing and licensing of book rights. Since launching, it has signed up publishers and agencies looking to fully monetise their content rights and has plans to also offer across-sector licensing, starting with film and music rights. The second phase of the platform is due to go live during September.

Hannah Sheppard will be working with authors and other content creators directly to add unlicensed work to the platform and select the most promising works for licensing. The platform will also operate as a copyright hub, providing evidence of copyright for authors. In addition, she will have a role on the company board and be involved in overall strategy and business development.

Hannah Sheppard commented: "The publishing industry is currently changing at a dramatic rate and I'm incredibly excited about joining a new venture which is at the forefront of those changes. I'm looking forward to working with Tom to help shape the company while also continuing to do what I love by working directly with authors."
