Wine Country Becomes Exclusive Vendor of Women of the Vine Wines

Liquor Retail Chain Becomes the Only Vendor in New Jersey to Sell the Wine

2012-09-15
BERGENFIELD, NJ, September 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) Wine Country Stores (www.winecountrystores.com), a successful liquor store chain in New Jersey, has become the exclusive vendor for Women of the Vine Wines. The stores have been stocking the wine for months, but have recently become the only liquor stores in New Jersey where it's available for purchase.

Women of the Vine Wine was founded by Deborah Brenner, author of the book Women of the Vine, a Wine Spectator Magazine's Best New Book of the Year in 2007. The company, which is operated and run by women, partnered with Farm Aid in 2011, as well as receiving the Grower of the Year 2011 Award. This was given to the Ledbetter Family, the farming partners of Women of the Vine, by the Unified Wine & Grape's Symposium.

"Wine Country Stores is thrilled to be the only liquor store in New Jersey to sell Women of the Vine Wines," Wine Country Stores Management President, Scott Maybaum, said. "We think this company makes tremendous wine, and we're happy to offer them to our customers. Not only does the company [Women of the Vines] care about creating great wines, they are trying to change the wine industry by moving away from a male-centered operation by having their wines made by women."

Every Wine Country Store in New Jersey will sell these wines. The Sauvignon Blanc will be available for $12.99, and the Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay all are $15.99.
