CHOCTAW, OK, September 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) The new mobile app from Eastern Oklahoma County Partnership (EOCP) is available for free this week in the iTunes App Store and the Android Marketplace. The app "EOCPOK" gives users access to the full EOCP website, key information about doing business in Oklahoma, business and data-mining tools and push notifications about EOCP events and news.
"With over 20,000 economic development organizations worldwide, EOCP is one of only five economic development organizations in Oklahoma and less than 50 globally to offer this type of marekting platform for both Android and iPhone," said Tim Hight, Executive Director of EOCP. "We think that this next generation technology allows our partners greater visibility and accessibility to EOCP."
Applied Mobile Marketing owner and CEO Herb Schultz adds, "The purpose of the EOCP App is to provide a mobile friendly, one-stop resource for creating, promoting and sustaining jobs and investment in Eastern Oklahoma County."
