VERNON, VT, September 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Volunteers worldwide will be participating in various efforts to clean-up our oceans and wetlands and address other global environmental issues in celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day and Clean-Up the World Weekend, which coincide this weekend. Staff at Vermont Woods Studios support every effort being made over the next few days and would like for people to remember that there are many ways to practice environmental preservation every day.
Vermont Woods Studios is not only a leader in the online retailing of fine, American-made furniture, but they are also dedicated environmentalists and green lifestyle supporters. Every year, Vermont Woods Studios makes donations to local wildlife organizations, participate in many environmental holidays and observances and make pledges to keep their office green, so this weekend is no different for them.
"Our company is built on the idea of sustainability," says Peggy Farabaugh, Owner of Vermont Woods Studios. "Vermont Woods Studios is involved with many nonprofit organizations including The Ocean Conservancy, the founders of International Coastal Clean-up Day."
The company even supports ocean preservation through the products they sell:
"Our outdoor furniture line features durable, green Polywood furniture. Polywood is recycled plastic outdoor furniture, made from more than 90% post-consumer recycled containers like milk or detergent jugs, constructed using a process that makes each piece look and feel like real wood." says Farabaugh. "By using recycled containers, we are keeping plastic out of our oceans and waterways."
You can join in on the efforts this weekend by participating in a local clean-up project, creating a new recycling resolution for your home or office, or by purchasing a piece of recycled furniture from Vermont Woods Studios. Visit http://vermontwoodsstudios.com/content/mission for more information.
Vermont Woods Studios has been offering sustainable, natural wood furniture in Vermont and online for 7 years. The stay also gives the trustee time to review the Debtor's financial situation and to distribute assets to creditors in order of priority. People considering ...
