ani & ari corset atelier was founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 2011 by Danielle (ani) and Ariel (ari) Tredway away from the bustle of the style hubs, so they can let their own imaginations flourish.
Danielle graduated with a degree in fine arts from The School of Art Institute in Chicago in 2010 where she gained her foundation of knowledge in lingerie/corset design. Ariel focused her studies on marketing and received a degree from Columbia College in Chicago in 2011. The sisters were raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Following their graduations Danielle & Ariel moved to Nashville and launched ani & ari. The duo became known around Nashville for their tenacity and talent for applying couture like craftsmanship to each one of a kind corset they created. Each corset embodied the sisters' meticulous attention to details and this is reflected in the ani & ari signature craftsmanship and style. Their business is very personal, and they want to keep it that way.
The sisters fall in love with each piece. Danielle relies on her vivid imagination to inspire clients to create a corset that will provide a special moment in time as they lace up their custom corset. The complexity of each couture corset awakens a creativity in their clients. The sisters always take the artistic choice over the non-artistic decision and work to create options for all desires from simplistic to theatrical.
Their small Nashville atelier has cultivated a celebrity following that includes Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, The Pistol Annies, and Hayden Panettiere will be wearing ani & ari corsets on ABC's blockbuster series "Nashville".
Danielle and Ariel are available to give an insiders peak into Nashville style!
The new website is coming in October but please visit the ani & ari blog for a behind the scenes look at the corset business - http://aniari.wordpress.com/.
