X2 Computing Bets On Success In North American Gaming Sector

X2 Computing aquires hardware business of XRiver Technologies to focus on provision of custom solutions for gaming operators throughout North America

WARWICKSHIRE, ENGLAND, September 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) X2 Computing, one of the world's leading suppliers of mobile gaming devices using the latest tablet computers, has acquired the hardware business of XRiver Technologies, a Virginia-based provider of mobile hardware and software solutions. This acquisition will enable X2 Computing to focus on the provision of custom solutions to meet the specific requirements of gaming operators throughout North America.

According to Francis Davis, Sales & Marketing Director of X2 Computing: "This acquisition will create a worldwide brand and give X2 a strong foothold in North America with established facilities, customers and contacts that would otherwise have taken many years to build. It will provide our international customers with a single point of contact for all sales, support and account management queries."

X2 Computing is a global leader in the development of electronic bingo terminals (EBTs) and hand-held gaming devices utilizing the latest tablet computer technologies. The company has over 35,000 EBTs installed worldwide with customers including Mecca Bingo and Gala Bingo in Europe. X2 has also partnered with leading US bingo software OEMs to develop new and innovative mobile devices that provide enhanced functionality and an unrivalled bingo experience.
