The EMMA Awards are hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management to recognize outstanding achievement and innovation in the Global Mobility industry worldwide. This year's contest for the Americas region drew more than one thousand nominations in twenty-four categories.

Casting private votes, the independent judges were global mobility professionals from AECOM, Alliance Data, Apple, Autodesk, Bechtel, Black & Veatch, Cisco, Dell, Genworth, Gulfstream Aerospace, Kraft Foods, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Research in Motion and Worley Parsons. The judges officially commented: "Pearl Law Group offers a powerful combination of technology innovation and a very high client service approach, on top of the outstanding legal expertise you expect from a leading firm."

Other short-listed nominees included the world's three largest immigration firms and several prominent global providers.
