RALEIGH, NC, September 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Campbell Law School (http://law.campbell.edu), has announced that 58 members of the graduating class of 2012 took part in a swearing-in ceremony on Sept. 14 at the Law School located at 225 Hillsborough St. The Honorable Paul Gessner and the Honorable Paul Ridgeway, both Wake County Superior Court Judges, administered the oath of office and led the swearing-in of Campbell Law alums who recently passed the July 2012 North Carolina Bar Examination.
The ceremony offered graduates the opportunity to be sworn in as attorneys with the North Carolina State Bar at their alma mater with their family, friends, professors, classmates and peers encouraging them and sharing the occasion. Each graduate took the oath of office as an attorney at law to support the Constitution of the United States.
Campbell Law's 2012 graduates outperformed all other North Carolina law schools on the July 2012 N.C. Bar Exam, leading the state in both first time bar passage and overall bar passage.
QUOTES:
"This event is very special for our law school community and our graduates," said Campbell Law Interim Dean Keith Faulkner. "We are honored that so many of them chose to share in this important milestone with their Campbell Law family. I am confident that the lessons they took from the halls of Campbell Law will serve them well as they enter the fraternity of practicing Campbell lawyers and begin to serve our communities and country."
