As specialists in growing fruits, Parlee Farms now creates delicious bakery items using its fruit. New recipes have been created using apples, blueberries, peaches, and strawberries. All bakery items are made from scratch and use Parlee Farms fruit. The bakery is open during regular farm hours.
"The bakery cabinet in our farm stand now showcases Peach Crumb Bar, Blueberry Muffins, Apple Crisp and more. Just like Grandma used to make!" said Ellen Parlee, owner of Parlee Farms.
Mary's Country Kitchen and Bakery at Parlee Farms offers tasty treats related to each picking season as well as a great selection of ice cream. The menu changes as the picking season changes. During strawberry season, Mary's Country Kitchen features our very popular Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake. Scones are made from scratch in the bakery and then smothered with fresh picked strawberries and topped with whipped cream. The summer season also offers fresh fruit sundaes, frappes, and smoothies. During the fall, the bakery at Parlee Farms features apple cider donuts, warm apple crisp, and hot apple cider. The bakers at Parlee Farms create delicious scones, tea breads, and cookies that are baked fresh every day.
Many bakery products at Parlee Farms are made in small batches. Scones are available plain or made with fruit. Tea breads are also made with Parlee Farms fruit, including blueberry, strawberry, and apple, as well as combinations including pumpkin and fresh lemon. All make great gifts to bring to someone's home or just to enjoy with your morning coffee.
Parlee Farms is currently celebrating its 25th season of providing pick your own fruit, vegetables, and flowers.
