RICHMOND, VA, September 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) BP, also known as British Petroleum, was heavily involved in the Olympics this summer in London. And while those games may have ended, there's no need to come down from the competitive high just yet. Seibert's Family of Companies will host two BP Team USA Experience days, one on September 26th from 10am-6pm at their Oilville BP station (1420 Broad Street, Oilville VA) and one on September 27th from 10am-6pm at their Tuckahoe BP station (11310 Patterson Avenue, Richmond VA).
Attendees at these "BP Olympics" will have the opportunity to participate in Olympic and Paralympic activities, including head-to-head sprint competitions on the BP Sprint Track and performance-grade wheel chair drag races. A split-engine vehicle will also be on-site at the event, giving attendees a visual representation of the engine cleaning benefits of BP gasoline with Invigorate and how it helps enhance a car's performance.
"The Olympics were a big hit in the Richmond-area this summer, and we are thrilled that our partners at BP are bringing part of the Olympic and Paralympic experience to the community," says Randy Seibert, President of Seibert's Family of Companies, the parent company of 'Berts Buck Stop and Seibert's Wholesale Fuels.
A BP spokesperson will be in attendance at the event and available for interviews about BP's sponsorship of the 2012 Summer Olympic games.
