CoolSculpting works by gently cooling unwanted fat cells in the body, inducing a natural, controlled elimination of fat cells. Cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), CoolSculpting is based on science developed by the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. The breakthrough technology is based on research demonstrating that fat cells are susceptible to cold and are selectively and permanently destroyed.
