TOM FABBRI: Goal Expert. An Extreme Adventurist With New Book "Ageless You," Summits New Heights

LOS ANGELES, CA, September 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tom Fabbri is a man who lives his life with no limitations and defies physical age; he does not allow his fifty three years to get in the way of his adventures. He has summited four of the Seven Summits, the highest mountains of each of the seven continents, and has dived with Great White Sharks. These accomplishments are only a few of the many goals Tom has set for himself. His upcoming adventures will include climbing the remaining 3 Summits, racing in the Iditarod, flying in outer space on the Virgin Galactic, diving to see the Titanic and sail solo around the world.

Tom's wisdom is the contents of his latest book "Ageless You." His teaching comes from the planning; preparing to achieve the goals he has set out for himself. The principles he uses to attain these extreme goals are the same principles he teaches clients and groups to achieve their goals. As a health and wellness expert, adventurer, chef and author Tom has a wealth of knowledge and insight gained from preparing for extreme physical adventures and his passion for eating well for optimal health. How does Tom do all this at a time when many people his age are winding down and pulling back? He believes in living an ageless life. When asked what his secret recipe is, Tom shares his philosophy, "While we cannot stop the process of aging, the rate at which we age is completely within our control. Most people think of aging and our bodies the same way that they think about their cars; as we get older we are going to deteriorate and break down. Most think that after the age of forty we slide downhill; that we start losing memory, eyesight, hearing, and that aches and pains and a bigger waistline are all an inevitable part of life. None of that is true. Given the right fuel and used in the right way, your body - unlike your car - is designed to get better, not to wear out. Aging is not an effect of life but more of a side effect of our lifestyles. An Ageless life is about the decisions we make, the goals we set, and the climbs we all have in front of us."

Health-and-wellness expert, entrepreneur, and life wrangler, Tom Fabbri, understands firsthand the heights we can attain once we give ourselves permission to dare to dream. While Tom has achieved abundant successes, they were only reached after a rough and tumultuous journey in his early years of life. In his twenties, Tom lacked direction as he was caught up in drug and alcohol use—eventually joining the military where he spent a fair amount of time in the brig. Lacking motivation, Tom then left the military and drifted aimlessly through bankruptcy, jail, and eventually ended up homeless and sleeping in a car. It was from that rock-bottom place that he was able to see clearly that it was time to start over.

With this new clarity and vision, Tom opened his eyes to opportunity and seized inspiration as it came to him. At the age of 28, while working for minimum-wage at an airport, Tom decided to take his first step towards developing his best-self by ignoring the common notion that he was "too old" for aviation training. In a little over two years, Tom became a captain for a major airline, later moving on to fly private jets for the Cleveland Browns football team and additional celebrity clients.

Achieving this dream was the catalyst that Tom needed. Tom landed the title of Mr. Natural Universes, then moved on with diligence and strength of purpose to graduate from culinary school, to become a certified personal trainer and to become a columnist for a fitness magazine—all while continuing to pursue his love of natural bodybuilding. His formula was simple—if he wanted to do something, he decided to do it, and then did it.

Today, Tom has published a book, Ageless You: The Boomers Guide To Beginning Again, and is currently working on a companion cookbook.
