Mike Saint elected president of Nashville Opera Board

Saint Consulting Group CEO P. Michael Saint has been elected president of the Nashville Opera Board of Directors.

NASHVILLE, TN, September 27, 2012

The Nashville Opera Board of Directors has elected Mike Saint as board president.

The Saint Consulting Group founder and CEO succeeds M. Andrew Valentine as president of Tennessee's largest professional opera company.

Nashville Opera has presented three different world premiere operas since its inception in 1981 and is among the most successful regional companies in the United States. Main stage performances are presented at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center and play to over 17,000 people annually.

The organization's extensive education and outreach touring program reaches over 30,000 students throughout Middle Tennessee. These projects are supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Tennessee Arts Commission, and the Metro Nashville Arts Commission.

A member of the Nashville Opera Board of Directors for the past five years, Mike previously served on the board of directors of the Association of Management Consulting Firms in New York and as a trustee on the board of the Foundation for Excellence in Consulting and Management Inc. He serves on the governance committee of the Nashville District Council of the Urban Land Institute. He is a former board member of the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
