SAN DIEGO, CA, September 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) San Diego remodeling firm Jackson Design and Remodeling has once again earned spots on Qualified Remodeler Magazine's Top 500 and Remodeling Magazine's Top 550, which produce annual lists of the nation's top remodeling firms based on sales and revenue. In addition, the company earned a spot on the 2012 Inc. 5000, Inc. Magazine's annual list of the fastest growing private companies in America. As an Inc. honoree, JDR joins such notable companies as Intuit, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Oracle and Pandora.
"We're thrilled to be named to these lists," said Todd Jackson, President and CEO of Jackson Design and Remodeling. "It's a positive sign for our industry and for our business here in San Diego. We look forward to continuing to move up the ranks of the "Top" lists for many years to come."
Qualified Remodeler publishes its annual list of the Top 500 remodeling firms in the country based on the following criteria: Annual sales volume for the previous year, total number of years in business, association membership, certified employees on staff, industry awards and community service. Each company submitted a letter or audited statement from their CPA to verify their total volume of sales. Jackson Design and Remodeling has been ranked on Qualified Remodelers' prestigious Top 500 list every year since 2004. This year, Jackson Design and Remodeling was ranked #123, up from its previous spot at #158, and also received special star recognition for awards, certifications and community service.
Remodeling Magazine's "Remodeling 550" is a list of the nation's largest residential renovation companies. It comprises four categories: full service, specialty and replacement, insurance restoration companies and franchise operations. The rankings are based on CPA certified statements on annual sales volume. JDR ranked #29 on the list of 300 full service remodelers, up from #43 in 2011.
Inc. Magazine's "2012 Inc. 5000" measures revenue growth from 2008 through 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2008. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2011. JDR ranked #3682 on the list, up from 4018 in 2009. For San Diego companies on the list, JDR ranked #70 and #121 overall in the remodeling industry.
