Patriot Software Develops Timekeeping Software for Small Business Owners

Summary: An Ohio software company has developed online time and attendance software geared especially for U.S. small business owners.

2012-09-28
CANTON, OH, September 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Patriot Software, a developer of online software for U.S. small business owners, has just introduced Patriot TIME online time and attendance software, to complement its payroll software.

The timekeeping software integrates with Patriot PAY online payroll software, further simplifying the payroll process. Employers can record their employees' daily time worked and then import the hours to Patriot PAY with one click. Or, they can give employees access to a secure employee portal, where they can keep track of their own hours and time off.

Integrated software products work together
"Keeping track of employee time can be a real hassle for small business owners," said Wendy Smith, payroll manager for Patriot Software. "Our software products are designed to work together, creating one efficient process." Smith worked with the software development team to implement user-friendly features in TIME, based on customer requests and user feedback.

Because Patriot TIME is online, customers can log in anytime or anywhere to record employee hours and track time-off balances, she explained. They can set up multiple pay types and pay employees with weekly or biweekly time cards. Patriot TIME also complies with federal recordkeeping laws, as well as special overtime and double-time rules for California employers.

Optional employee portal simplifies timekeeping
MY Patriot is an optional employee portal where employees log into a secure website, enter their own time, view vacation balances, and print out pay stubs. Business owners signing up for Patriot PAY and TIME can add on MY Patriot for their employees.

"Offering MY Patriot gives your employees the power to access and update their own information, eliminating paper time sheets and saving you more time," Smith said.

Like all of Patriot's small business software, Patriot TIME is priced to be affordable, based on the number of employees. All software updates and backups are automatic and included in the monthly cost, which features access to free routine phone support. Patriot also offers free set-up assistance for new payroll customers.

Try the software for free
Small business owners can try out Patriot TIME with a free seven-day sample account or a free guided demo with customer support. Customers who sign up for service receive the first 30 days free, and can add or cancel software anytime with no obligation.
