HOLLYWOOD, FL, September 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tina Marie Malinak, Business Analyst for the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G), has been selected as a VIP Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Tina Marie Malinak's commitment to excellence in Financial Accounting.
Malinak, who began working for her organization in 1990, has twenty-one years experience in her field. She has held numerous responsibilities over the course of her career with PSE&G, most recently serving as their business analyst.
In her current role, Malinak does reporting and maintaining of financials for the Customer Operations and Utility Support aspects of the business. She works with a small group of associates that deliver monthly reports and maintain the data that is supplied to the businesses so they can make proper decisions where financial impacts can occur. She also trains other associates within her department on new tools.
"I have always had a love for numbers, going back to when I was a little child doing puzzles for hours," Malinak said about her career in accounting. "As I got older, I found that I had a knack for financials and determined that it would be the direction I would go in business."
Malinak is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Spirit of Learning Award for her hard work in creating a new department in Customer Operations for PSE&G. She was also awarded with an Environmental Honor Roll Award and an Excellence in Volunteerism Award four years in a row, both through PSE&G for her work with the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, helping injured and sick dolphins, seals, whales, and sea turtles.
