New mobile app Presto Politics makes the Presidential Debates a Participatory Sport.

APOPKA, FL, October 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) "Watching presidential politics was never this much fun" says Azymous Interactive founder David Kahan, speaking about his companies' new apps, Presto Politics and Presto VP.

While watching the debates, the news, or even reading the web, users can touch buttons to indicate their support or lack of support for a candidate's position. Don't like what the candidate on the left is saying? Touch the "Boo" button, and hear the boos of the crowd. Ridiculous statement from the candidate on the right? Press "Mock" and you'll hear derisive laughter. There are also choices to "Clapp" and to "Cheer".

And users "votes" do count! Presto Politics keeps track of users votes each day, as well as adding them to the World Totals on the internet. So app users can see how many times the candidate on the left or the right received "Claps", "Applause", "Mocks", or "Boos" worldwide. Azymous wrote the apps as "an absolute must have for the debates!", giving users the chance to let the world know what they think, and most of all to have fun with politics.

Azymous Interactive utilized Corona Lab's state of the art Corona SDK to develop it's Presto iOS apps, and will soon be releasing versions for Android phones, the Kindle Fire, and the B&N Nook. According to Kahan, "Using Corona allowed us to quickly engineer the apps in a cross platform friendly manner while maintaining the highest quality. And most importantly, it gave us the ability to complete the apps in time for the presidential debates." Presto Politics, Presto VP and other Azymous apps are available on the iTunes store, and are featured in the Corona Labs App Showcase.
