SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, October 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) Join the thousands of happy campers that take part in this charitable night of camping each year and pay just $20 to secure a site under the stars at 100 participating BIG4 Holiday Parks, with all proceeds from the event going to local causes as chosen by participating BIG4 Holiday Parks.
The unique national event will be held at a wide range of BIG4's across Australia, with families and friends, couples, first time campers and seasoned outdoor adventurers all encouraged to explore a new holiday destination close to home.
Kari Hunter, General Manager - Marketing, says Camp and Care with BIG4 is a fun event that brings families and friends together in a true community atmosphere, whilst also supporting a local cause.
"Camp and Care with BIG4 gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy a night of camping at a discounted flat fee of $20 per site - a fee that is then donated to a local cause. Not only does it offer people a chance to give back to the community, but it also reintroduces people to the classic Aussie tradition of camping, all in the best holiday park accommodation on offer in the country," Kari says.
"Last year's event was a great success, raising much needed funds for causes such as local surf clubs and CFA's, medical research organisations and the Royal Flying Doctors. BIG4 Parks are an invested part of the communities they exist within and this is a fantastic opportunity for them to support local causes that are close to the community's heart," adds Kari.
Many Parks will be hosting additional activities over the weekend in celebration of the event including pancake breakfasts, face painting and BBQs to name just a few, so check out the full list of participating parks online and explore a new, or familiar, area for a good cause.
Pitch in on Friday 16 November and book your powered camping site at one of 100 participating parks, at BIG4.com.au/comecamp. Camp and Care with BIG4 is proudly sponsored by maui, CIL Caravan Insurance and Mitsubishi Motors.
