Elle Marie Hair Studio Opens New Salon Across from Alderwood Mall

BOTHELL, WA, October 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Elle Marie Hair Studio is excited to announce the opening of their third location, directly across the street from the Alderwood Mall in the Alderwood Crossing Shopping Center. The new salon is located directly between Catherine's and The Vitamin Shoppe, near Bassett Furniture and TCBY.

The new 2,600 square foot location has been designed from the ground up to create an environment that will offer a truly amazing salon experience. With 15 chairs and 6 shampoo bowls, the salon has the ability to accommodate almost as many guests as Elle Marie's original two salons combined. To speed up check in and check out times, guests will first be welcomed at a half-circle reception desk designed to staff multiple Studio Coordinators simultaneously. Beautiful chalk art, consistent with the other Elle Marie locations, resides behind the front desk. Multiple restrooms and separate changing rooms help ensure the guest experience flows as seamlessly as possible. As guests venture further into the salon, on the backside of the chalk wall they encounter the salon's focal point - a color bar where Elle Marie stylists will showcase their color mixing artistry. A color wall displays the salon's award-winning Redken color lines as color guests relax around a bar at one of six stations as their color processes. "Elle Marie is a family-owned salon," explains Marketing Director Jody Bossert. "One thing my mother, sister and I share is that we are very social people. We love entertaining and strive to create very welcoming, social environments with our salons. A bar speaks to the social experience salons are known for and we are thrilled to finally have the space to include one. It's not your typical bar design though. Comfortable chairs are used in lieu of stools while the bar is lowered to accommodate the guest. We're excited about the friendly, social vibe it will create in the salon."

In addition to the added amenities for guests, the business will get a boost from an allocation of space for the ownership team as well. Home offices will finally be moved into the salon which should greatly streamline operations. Plus, a backroom training area has been included so stylists can keep their skills sharp, practicing cutting edge styles behind the scenes. This area will also double as a small production studio for a series of web-based hair how-to videos.
