RALEIGH, NC, October 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dan Fields, AIA and principal of BJAC Raleigh, pa (http://www.bjac.com), an architectural firm offering professional architectural and design services to healthcare, education, municipal and research clients, has announced that the firm will participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk on Saturday, Oct. 13 in downtown Raleigh at the Halifax Mall, located at 301 N. Wilmington St.
Light the Night is an evening fundraising walk to celebrate and commemorate lives that have been touched by blood cancer. The evening has a carnival atmosphere and includes refreshments, entertainment, music and kids' activities. The funds raised by teams and individuals provide lifesaving blood cancer research, local support programs, and resources for patients and their families. BJAC's design work helps create environments for healing, and this year they are expanding that commitment by participating in this event as the "BJAC Beats Cancer" team.
Check-in and festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Halifax Mall, and the walk program begins at 7 p.m. For more information about the event, visit http://www.lightthenight.org/nc/.
