Le Meridien Amman Perforates Market with its Bi-Annual Sales Blitz

AMMAN, JORDAN, October 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) Le Meridien Amman, a member of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, concluded its one week bi-annual sales blitz on Thursday, September 30th, where associates visited repeated, new and potential accounts throughout the city of Amman.
Over 30 associates from different departments took part in the sales blitz, including the food and beverage, rooms, engineering, reservations, security, human resources, finance and marketing. The five teams raced through Amman to reach destinations and cover as many appointments as possible, aiming at touching base with repeated accounts, solidifying relationships with new ones, and accommodating the needs and expectations of potential ones
The courtesy visits included briefing existing and potential clients about the five main restaurants at the property, serving various types of cuisine, such as Lebanese in Al Mukhtar, Japanese serving Sushi and Teppankayi in chain restaurant Benihana, US Certified Angus Beef in 282 Steaks and Lounge, Casual Italian in Enzo, and Chinese in China Town.
Light was also shed on several loyalty programs run by Starwood, such as the Starchoice program which rewards all non-professional travel arrangers, secretaries and personal assistants, who book at least 10 qualified room nights per year for choosing Starwood as their preferred hotel groups.
