DENVER, CO, October 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) In line with national cosmetic surgery trends, Denver breast augmentations continue to be the top option for patients at Campanile Plastic Surgery (http://www.campanileplasticsurgery.com). Other top procedures at the practice this year are liposuction, tummy tuck, and BOTOX Cosmetic injections. Dr. Frank Campanile, a Denver plastic surgeon and owner of Campanile Plastic Surgery, says the newest statistics aren't surprising, reflecting breast augmentation's continued popularity for several decades.
"Breast augmentation procedures have remained popular, even with a tougher economy the past few years," says Dr. Campanile. "I think many women see a lot of value in the procedure, and the women who choose my practice are looking for an elegant, naturally enhanced appearance."
The latest national statistics available from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) show breast augmentation procedures totaling 307,180 in 2011, a 4 percent rise over the previous year and a 45 percent increase since 2000. Breast augmentations accounted for nearly one in every four cosmetic procedures performed in the Western United States.
Dr. Campanile has seen continued interest in the procedure in 2012 as well. Though no 2012 statistics have been released by the ASPS yet, Dr. Campanile says that based on the number of breast augmentation procedures he has performed this year, he expects to see another annual increase in the total number of procedures performed across the country.
"This year, my practice has seen significant growth, with breast augmentation procedures leading the way," adds Dr. Campanile. "Word-of-mouth has definitely played a role in the increase, with satisfied patients talking up their experience."
Part of what may explain Campanile Plastic Surgery's growth in breast augmentation procedures is Dr. Campanile's personalized approach. With each woman being different, a custom-tailored breast enhancement procedure is able to create highly satisfying and flattering results. Dr. Campanile has been known for his personalized approach to each surgery, dedicating as much time as it takes to help women achieve the augmentation result they envision.
"In speaking with colleagues, I've noticed a definite correlation among practices throughout the country," notes Dr. Campanile. "Where the surgeon dedicates more time to patients to truly personalize the procedure, the results are noticeably better, as is patient satisfaction. To me, the increase in breast augmentation procedures at my practice and nationally suggests that more women are satisfied with their results and telling others about the positive role the procedure has had for their self-image."
Campanile Plastic Surgery (http://www.campanileplasticsurgery.com) was founded in Denver by Dr. Frank Campanile, a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who has over 15 years of plastic surgery experience. Dr. Campanile completed advanced training in hand and microsurgery and is the former Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Lee Memorial Health Systems. The practice specializes in breast and body contouring, including procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Patients of the practice also can benefit from some of the latest medical spa procedures, such as BOTOX Cosmetic and dermal fillers.
