Palomar Modular Buildings Has Recently Completed the Design Phase and is Now Prototyping State of the Art Modular Motel Buildings at its Desoto, TX plant.

Palomar Modular Buildings has entered into the underserved modular motel and hotel market. By decreasing the construction time required for a site built motel, Palomar can increase the owner's rental stream by more than six months.

2012-10-10
DESOTO, TX, October 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) Palomar Modular Buildings, Desoto, Tx. has configured new modular designs that will work in either a stand alone situation or as an addition to a current building. In addition to the sleeping rooms Palomar has unveiled configurations for lobbies, management suites, dining, recreation, laundry, vending and other specialty areas. According to John Martin, "We are prototyping what we think will be a big step forward for the industry and will be inviting several operator associations to view the building. We have learned that these operators understand that faster construction can shorten their building cycle by more than six months and significantly increase their revenue, in some cases, by millions of dollars. Also very importantly, under proper conditions, the owners can benefit from more favorable depreciation."

Palomar can deliver a 100 unit motel in less than 90 days. While the owner/operator is preparing the site, Palomar is building the motel that will be placed on that prepared site. Martin states, "We can get ahead of the curve because we have no weather delays, site disruptions, labor issues or material shortages. Our suppliers are under annual contracts and know the importance of our just-in-time culture for materials. The materials we use are basically the same materials used in on site construction except they are delivered to our factory in a more timely manner and installed in the accelerated assembly process."

Palomar Modular Buildings http://www.palomarmodularbuildings.com/ is producing two to three thousand square feet of commercial space every day. Martin states the workforce experience is critical to maintaining the highest quality standards. Palomar prides itself in the quality of its project management team because each client deals with a single person during the delivery of the final product. This continuity is an import part of being a direct sell manufacturer where the customer is dealing directly with the factory. According to Martin, " It boils down to keeping the client informed and insuring that there is no miscommunication. We also warrant our work the building, the installation, everything included in the final project."

Palomar (www.palomarmodularbuildings.com) is a leading manufacturer of custom commercial modular buildings focused on the oil field housing, government, and education and health care industries. Palomar's mission is to deliver quality facilities on schedule and within budget while providing customers a high level of building expertise and doing so in a manner that achieves customer satisfaction.
