Dimensional Design Creates Educational Packaging

Dimensional Design has created educational and branded packaging for DiversiTech's new pump product.

2010-08-20
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA, August 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) DiversiTech, a leading manufacturer in the commercial HVAC and electrical industry, recently commissioned Dimensional Design (DD) to develop packaging for a new pump that is an industry leader in both design and technology. Since the HVAC industry tends to be slow to change, the true success factor of a product launch lies in educating the customer on the problem solving abilities of the product itself.

A major time saving feature of the new pump is the clear housing so DD incorporated a PTEG window to showcase the feature which require the customer to focus on this important attribute. DD could have stopped there and had a successful package, but the combined team of DD designers and DiversiTech product managers wanted something more. Using the product window in a plan-o-grammed configuration, the packages create a repeating hexagonal pattern which echoes a major graphic aspect of the DiversiTech brand and identity.

Throughout the design process, DD pushed the boundaries to transform the product and packaging into an educational point of purchase display with a branded edge. DD has worked for years with DiversiTech on great products ranging from exhibits to displays and graphics to packaging and was proud to have collaborated on yet another successful project.
